Sulaymaniyah University organized a special conference for its graduates from the classes of 1968 to 1980. University president, the governor of Sulaymaniyah, and a number of academic and community figures has been attended this conference. The conference enjoyed a distinguished attendance and interactive atmosphere, which reflects the great importance of this meeting in strengthening academic and practical ties between graduates and educational institutions.
Al-Amal College of Specialized Medical Sciences was represented at this conference by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mufid Jalil Awad, who delivered a speech on behalf of the college, in which he stressed the importance of communication between academic institutions and their graduates, pointing to the role of Al-Amal College in supporting advanced educational efforts. Dr. Mufid Jalil also praised the efforts of Sulaimaniyah University in organizing this event, which brings together successive generations of university graduates.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Dean of Al-Amal College held a fruitful meeting with the President of Sulaymaniyah University, discussing the possibility of signing a joint cooperation agreement between the two institutions, with the aim of enhancing the exchange of experiences and developing specialized educational programs that meet the needs of students and the labor market alike.
Dr. Mufid Jalil met with the Governor of Sulaymaniyah, where they discussed the importance of supporting the higher education sector and its vital role in providing society with qualified and trained cadres who contribute to achieving sustainable development.
