Al-Amal College participates in the democratic celebration of the elections of the Academic Syndicate in Karbala.
Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences took part in the electoral event of the Academic Syndicate – Karbala Branch, held in the main hall of the University of Karbala. The occasion was marked by a scholarly atmosphere and a distinguished presence of the province’s academic and intellectual elites.
The college delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jaleel Awad, the Dean of the College, who represented the institution in this notable academic gathering. In his statement, he affirmed that the Academic Syndicate serves as a cornerstone for strengthening sound scientific values, safeguarding the rights of university professors, and advancing the academic standard in Iraq. He commended the role of academics as “builders of generations” and bearers of the torches of knowledge and enlightenment.
The elections were distinguished by the participation of several high-profile figures, including Dr. Firas Al-Muslimawi, member of the Parliamentary Education Committee; Eng. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, Governor of the Holy Karbala; as well as the Chairman and members of the Provincial Council, in addition to a group of university presidents and deans. Their attendance added value to the event and underscored the strategic importance of the Syndicate as a guardian of Iraq’s academic community and the rights of its scholars.
