Founding Board of Al-Amal College meets with academic and administrative staff to discuss ways to enhance academic and institutional performance

As part of Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences’ ongoing efforts to strengthen its academic and administrative journey and elevate institutional performance, the College’s Founding Board held an extensive meeting today with the teaching and administrative staff. The meeting was attended by the College Dean, Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jaleel Awad, his scientific and administrative assistants, the Chairman of the Founding Board, Dr. Abdullah Al-Tamimi, as well as heads of academic departments, Prof. Dr. Abbas Fadhil Hassoun — Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, and the Head of the IT Unit.

The meeting included a comprehensive discussion on mechanisms for developing the educational process and enhancing academic quality standards. It also explored ways to support both teaching and administrative staff to positively impact student outcomes and the overall institutional performance.

The discussions resulted in several decisions and proposals outlining a strategic roadmap aimed at elevating quality assurance practices and improving the administrative and technical infrastructure of the college, in line with the requirements of modern medical education.

Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jaleel Awad affirmed that Al-Amal College is steadily advancing toward achieving a qualitative leap in academic excellence, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to fostering an inspiring academic environment rooted in creativity and openness to scientific and technological advancement.

This meeting is part of a series of periodic sessions organized by the College to ensure alignment with developments in higher education and to realize its vision of becoming a leading institution in preparing qualified medical professionals dedicated to serving the community.
