About the Unit: The Local and International Rankings Unit serves as the strategic compass for Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences towards academic excellence. Established to act as the primary liaison between the college and global/local evaluation agencies, the unit takes on the responsibility of highlighting the institution's scientific, research, and academic achievements. The unit works diligently to ensure compliance with all standard ranking criteria, contributing to positioning Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences in the prestigious rank it deserves on both local and international educational maps.
Vision: To propel Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences to advanced and competitive ranks within the most prominent local and international academic rankings, becoming a role model in the quality of medical education and scientific research.
Mission: To reflect the true potential of our institutional performance by documenting and highlighting academic and research outputs, and to guide college policies towards adopting best global practices through active collaboration and partnership with all scientific and administrative departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Rankings Portfolio Management: Directly supervising the study and analysis of the requirements and criteria of approved local and international rankings, and managing the official registration processes.

Academic Data Engineering: Building and maintaining a robust institutional database by collecting, categorizing, and analyzing data related to the college's activities (academic, research, administrative, and community service).

Documentation and Official Representation: Preparing the required documentary files and statistical reports, ensuring they are submitted to the ranking organizations accurately and within the specified deadlines.

Performance Measurement and Continuous Development: Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and issuing periodic analytical reports illustrating the college's competitive position, while conducting "gap analysis" to provide actionable strategic recommendations to the college deanship.

Academic Support and Awareness: Promoting a culture of quality and institutional ranking among faculty members, researchers, and students by organizing workshops, seminars, and awareness programs that stimulate international scientific publishing and elevate overall performance efficiency.
