Al-Amal College Welcomes First-Year Students with Flowers in a Joyous Ceremony
Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences welcomed the newly enrolled first-year students across its scientific departments in a joyous ceremony held at the College’s celebration plaza. The event served as an expression of the institution's delight at the students joining the Al-Amal family, where the reception featured flowers amidst an atmosphere filled with warmth and optimism for the start of a new academic year.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome to the new students, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Subsequently, the "Anthem of the Fathers" (Nashid Al-Abaa) and the Iraqi National Anthem were played, followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha in tribute to the souls of the righteous martyrs.
The Deanship’s address was delivered by the Dean of the College, Professor Emeritus Dr. Mufeed Jalil Awad, in the presence of Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Tamimi, Prof. Dr. Abdul Amir Al-Khafaji (Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs), heads of scientific departments, faculty members, and a large gathering of students.
In his speech, the Dean reviewed the history of Al-Amal College and its scientific and academic achievements. He emphasized the Deanship’s commitment to providing a solid and supportive educational environment, urging students to be diligent and persevering to achieve their scientific and professional goals.
The ceremony included various segments, featuring poetry recitations and welcoming speeches that expressed pride in the new students, witnessing remarkable interaction from the audience.
The event concluded with a commemorative group photograph taken at the College’s amphitheater, documenting this occasion which marks the beginning of a new scientific journey for the first-year students at Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences.
