Scientific Workshop at Al-Amal College on "Academic Program and Course Description"

Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jalil Awad, the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit held a scientific workshop titled "Academic Program and Course Description." The session was presented by Prof. Dr. Abbas Fadhil Hassoon, Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit.

The workshop addressed several key themes, including the definition of the academic program, its vision, mission, objectives, structure, and teaching and learning strategies. Furthermore, it clarified the mechanism for preparing program and course descriptions in alignment with modern academic accreditation standards.

The workshop was attended by the Dean, his Scientific and Administrative Associates, Heads of Scientific Departments, and all faculty members. In his remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of such workshops in enhancing the quality of education and ensuring the achievement of distinguished academic outcomes that reflect the College's vision and mission in building a scientifically and professionally qualified generation.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the floor was opened for discussion and the exchange of views on best practices in academic program description, contributing to the development of academic performance and the achievement of comprehensive quality standards at Al-Amal College.
