Al-Amal College Participates in the Democratic Elections of the Academics Syndicate in Karbala
Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences participated in the electoral process of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Karbala Branch, hosted at the Presidency Hall of the University of Karbala. The event took place amidst a rigorous scientific atmosphere and a qualitative presence of the governorate's academic and intellectual elites.
The College's delegation was headed by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jalil Awad, representing the institution in this splendid academic gathering. In his statement, the Dean emphasized that the Academics Syndicate represents a fundamental pillar in consolidating robust scientific values, protecting the rights of university professors, and elevating the academic standard in Iraq. He praised the role of academics as the "builders of generations" and the bearers of the torches of knowledge and enlightenment.
The elections were distinguished by the significant attendance of high-ranking figures, led by the Member of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee, Dr. Firas Al-Masalmawi, and the Governor of Holy Karbala, Eng. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi. Furthermore, the Chairman and members of the Provincial Council, along with a prominent group of university presidents and deans, were present. This notable attendance added significant value to the event and reaffirmed the strategic position of the Syndicate as an incubator for the academic journey and a guardian of the rights of the scientific elites in the nation.
