Sustainable Development at Al-Amal College

 

Introduction

The college is dedicated to automating administrative workflows and utilizing modern (digital) technologies to connect with local and global electronic platforms and websites. This aims to sustain scientific and research communication and ensure seamless accessibility, in commitment to fulfilling the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It also embodies the establishment of partnerships and twinning programs with research institutions to support studies, reports, and research related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as all relevant multi-faceted events and activities held at the college for students, staff, or community service.

Objectives

Support the implementation of the requirements of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals at the college, governorate, and national levels, in alignment with its policies in this regard.

Support scientific research and encourage the academic publication of relevant scientific studies.

Establish scientific and research communication with local and global scientific and research institutions via electronic platforms dedicated to sustainable development.

Spread societal awareness and culture regarding the importance of the global call to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Commit to the directives and programs of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the transition from traditional administration to electronic (digital) administration, and enhance electronic archiving while ensuring easy access to it.

Open horizons for creativity and innovation locally and globally in the era of modern technologies and artificial intelligence.
