Ministerial Committee from the Ministry of Higher Education Visits Al-Amal College to Audit Faculty Academic Specializations

A ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Department of Private University Education / Planning and Information Section) visited Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences in Karbala. This visit was part of the Ministry's field tours aimed at auditing the scientific backgrounds of faculty members in private universities and colleges, ensuring alignment with approved ministerial instructions and regulations.

The committee was composed of Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Abdul-Hussein (Chairman), Dr. Eng. Talib Ahmed Hamid (Member and Rapporteur), and Dr. Eng. Maha Abbas Hussein (Member). During the visit, the committee reviewed the academic files of faculty members across various departments. They verified compliance with ministerial requirements regarding degrees, academic titles, and university orders, as well as administrative documents related to appointments and no-objection letters.

The committee was received by the Dean of Al-Amal College, Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jalil Awad, the Administrative Associate Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafie Abdul Ridha, and several heads of departments. Dr. Rafie provided a comprehensive explanation of the administrative and organizational mechanisms used to document faculty files, highlighting the College's commitment to strictly applying ministerial standards and providing all necessary requirements to ensure a smooth and transparent auditing process.

The ministerial committee commended the high level of administrative organization and the accuracy of academic file documentation. They noted that Al-Amal College is considered a distinguished educational institution keen on applying quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, striving to develop its faculty to keep pace with modern medical education requirements.

For his part, the Dean, Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jalil Awad, valued the committee's visit, emphasizing that it serves as an additional incentive to continue the robust scientific approach adopted by the College to support the educational and research process, thereby serving the progress of education in Iraq.
