Al-Amal College Welcomes First-Year Students with Floral Tributes in a Solemn Festive Ceremony

Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences held a celebratory reception at the campus ceremonial plaza to welcome the newly enrolled first-year students across its various scientific departments. The event, characterized by a spirit of hospitality and optimism for the forthcoming academic year, saw students greeted with flowers as they were formally inducted into the Al-Amal College academic community.

The proceedings commenced with a formal welcome, followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. The ceremony continued with the rendition of the Anthem of the Forefathers and the Iraqi National Anthem, succeeded by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha in solemn remembrance of the nation's martyrs.

Subsequently, the Dean of Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, Professor Dr. Mufid Jalil Awad, delivered the inaugural address. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Tamimi, the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs Professor Dr. Abd al-Amir al-Khafaji, department heads, faculty members, and a large assembly of students. In his speech, the Dean reviewed the college's academic trajectory and its scholarly achievements, underscoring the administration's commitment to providing a rigorous and supportive pedagogical environment. He further exhorted the students to pursue academic excellence and perseverance to realize their scientific and professional aspirations.

The event featured a diverse program, including poetic recitals and welcoming remarks that expressed pride in the new cohort, garnering significant engagement from the attendees.

The ceremony concluded with a commemorative group photograph on the college’s ceremonial grandstand, documenting the occasion as the inaugural milestone in the academic journey of the first-year students at Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences.
