A Specialized Scientific Trip for Al-Amal College Students Towards Modern Horizons of Cosmetics and Lasers
In the context of its continuous endeavor to enhance the practical aspect and refine the skills of its students, and under the directives of the Dean of Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jalil Awad—which support scientific activities and academic openness—the Cosmetic and Laser Technologies Department at Al-Amal College organized a scientific trip to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU) / College of Medical and Health Techniques / Cosmetic and Laser Technologies Department. The delegation was headed by the Head of the Department, Dr. Fadhil Handhal Al-Mayahi, and accompanied by a number of faculty members and students.
The visit witnessed a distinguished academic reception by Prof. Dr. Hassan Ali Farman Al-Jubouri, Head of the Cosmetic and Laser Technologies Department at the host university. During the reception, both parties emphasized the profound importance of scientific cooperation and the exchange of expertise between educational institutions, significantly contributing to the development of the academic journey and elevating the scientific level of the students.
The scientific program included a comprehensive tour inside the specialized laboratories and applied training halls. During this tour, the students were briefed on the latest devices and technologies utilized in the fields of cosmetics and lasers. This was accompanied by detailed scientific explanations regarding the working mechanisms of modern devices and their various applications. Furthermore, direct practical training sessions were conducted, providing students with a valuable opportunity for field interaction and the acquisition of applied expertise that actively contributes to developing their professional skills.
