Al-Amal College Faculty Member Chairs a PhD Dissertation Defense Committee at the University of Karbala

Within the framework of scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Tai, a faculty member at Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, participated by chairing a PhD dissertation defense committee in Statistics for the student Tamara Ali Ghani. The defense took place at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

The defense session lasted for more than five continuous hours, during which the student presented a confident scientific defense of her dissertation. She demonstrated a solid scientific level and immense confidence in presenting the statistical ideas and methodologies incorporated into the study. The committee members praised the student's efforts and the supervisor's role in providing academic guidance. At the conclusion of the session, the dissertation was accepted and officially awarded the grade of "Very Good".

On this occasion, Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences extends its highest congratulations to the student and the supervisory committee. The College also commends the distinguished academic role its professors play in enhancing and advancing scientific research both inside and outside Iraq.
