Al-Amal College Achieves an International Scientific Milestone with the Honoring of a Faculty Member
Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences announced that Dr. Fadhil Handhal Al-Mayahi, a faculty member in the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques (holding a PhD in Clinical Immunology), has been awarded an international certificate of appreciation from the Revista Colombiana de Química (Colombian Journal of Chemistry). This recognition comes in appreciation of his scientific efforts and his participation in peer-reviewing an international research paper titled:
"Biogenic Synthesis of Multifunctional Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Using Rosmarinus officinalis L. Extract: Comprehensive Evaluation of Antibacterial, Antioxidant, and Antimalarial Potential."
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mufeed Jalil Awad, emphasized that this achievement reflects the prestigious international standing of the College's researchers. It also demonstrates the pioneering role the College plays in supporting the progress of scientific research and advancing knowledge to serve science and humanity. Furthermore, the Dean invited researchers to publish their studies in the Al-Amal College Journal free of charge, as a supportive initiative from the College to encourage the research movement in Iraq and the wider region.
For his part, Dr. Al-Mayahi expressed his pride in this honor, considering it a significant step in his academic and research career and an incentive to continue his scientific contributions. He extended his gratitude to the editorial board of the Colombian Journal of Chemistry for this recognition, affirming his aspiration for further fruitful scientific collaboration in the future.
