Al-Amal College Faculty Member Participates in a Master’s Thesis Defense Committee at the University of Kufa

The Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Alaa Al-Rufaye, participated as a member of the defense committee for a master's thesis in Organic Chemistry at the College of Education, University of Kufa. The defense took place on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the Atheer Al-Sukuni Hall.

The defense was held for the thesis submitted by the student Ayat Abdul-Wahab Hamza Al-Tufaili, titled: (Synthesis and Characterization of New Heterocyclic Compounds Containing Aromatic Ether and Study of Biological Activity). The study demonstrated a distinguished scientific level in terms of both chemical synthesis and biological analysis, and the thesis was awarded the grade of "Excellence" by the unanimous vote of the committee members.

The defense committee consisted of:

• Asst. Prof. Dr. Hanan Falih Muhsin – Member

• Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Alaa Abdul-Zahra – Member

The thesis was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Radhiya Abdul-Baqi.
